What gets checked

What happens when you check Powerball numbers

White balls are matched as a set. The red Powerball is a separate match and cannot substitute for a white ball.

What stays private

Your ticket numbers

This first version performs the comparison entirely in browser JavaScript. It has no account system and sends no ticket form.

What is official

The lottery record

Always scan or validate the physical ticket with the lottery in the jurisdiction where it was purchased.

How to check a line

How to check Powerball numbers

To check Powerball numbers correctly, start with the drawing date. The checker then loads the number ranges that applied to that historical record.

01 / Select the draw

Use the date printed on the ticket

Choose the year, month, and completed drawing date before entering a line. The archive includes historical game changes, so selecting the date also updates the allowed white-ball and red-ball ranges. Recent drawings use 1–69 for white balls and 1–26 for Powerball.

02 / Enter one line

White balls can be in any order

Enter five different white-ball values and the separate red Powerball. The comparison treats white numbers as a set, so their order on the ticket does not matter. A red value cannot substitute for a missing white-ball match.

03 / Read the comparison

Match class, not a prize quote

The result reports how many white balls matched, whether the Powerball matched, and the Power Play value recorded for the draw. It does not calculate state-specific payouts, taxes, claim deadlines, or ticket validity.

04 / Confirm officially

A browser check is not a claim check

Use this tool as a convenient first comparison. Then scan or validate the physical ticket with the selling lottery. If a result differs, the official drawing record controls. You can also open the complete Powerball results archive before leaving the site.

FAQ / private comparison

Check Powerball numbers FAQ

The checker provides a fast historical comparison. These answers separate that browser task from official ticket validation.

01 Can I check Powerball numbers from an older drawing?

Yes. Choose the drawing date printed on the ticket. The checker loads the white-ball and red-ball ranges used for that historical record before it validates your entries.

02 Does the order of the five white balls matter?

No. White balls are compared as a set, so the order printed on the ticket does not affect the match count. The red Powerball is checked separately.

03 Does the checker calculate an official prize amount?

No. It reports the white-ball match count, whether the Powerball matched, and the recorded Power Play multiplier. Prize values, eligibility, deadlines, and ticket validity must be confirmed with the selling lottery.

04 Are the numbers I enter uploaded or stored?

No ticket form is submitted. The comparison runs in browser JavaScript on the current device, and this version has no account or saved-ticket system.
